and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake. II Corinthians 4:5
Please take a minute and pray for the Applebys - Larry and Patti
Enlisting, Equiping, Encouraging the next generation of missionaries!
Dear Pastors and Praying Friends:
We are deeply grateful for the ministry to which the Lord called us more than forty years ago. Thank you for your friendship in the faith and for your own investment in reaching souls with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is a great joy to know that wherever His assignments take us, we each are laboourers together with God.. (I Corinthians 3:9)
We are glad to see that some areas of our country are reopening after the strict lockdowns. It is wonderful to be back in local churches after three months of cancelled meetings. Thank you for your renewed faithfulness to your own local church. We rejoice that once again we are enjoying times of refreshing with each other in the presence of the Lord.
Thank you for every time you pray for us. The Lord reminds us often that many people from around the world have committed themselves to pray on our behalf. Even as we look specifically over these last two months, it is not difficult to see that God still engineers circumstances. We praise Him for specific answers to prayer and for all He has done in our lives and through the ministry He has entrusted to us.
Would you take a few minutes and pray for us today? We are believing God for His help regarding several pressing matters. Please pray:
For an upcoming opportunity in India this September. Pray that God will enable the visa to be processed in a timely manner without any difficulty.
For two additional opportunities in Europe this Fall, one in Luxembourg (October) and the other in Germany (November). Please pray specifically regarding travel bans from the US.
For God to call additional workers for these and other upcoming international endeavors. Pray for new opportunities to visit Bible colleges in the Fall to enlist additional team members.
For open doors in stateside churches so that we may continue to share the vision of enlisting and equipping the next generation of missionaries. Please ask the Lord to fill our calendar with the essential meetings He has planned. We truly look forward to seeing many of you in the coming weeks and months.
For Patti who is facing major surgery/brief hospitalization on Monday, July 6. Please ask the Lord to intervene on our behalf. A favorite hymn reminds us of this truth: “Jesus, Jesus! How I trust Him! How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er! Jesus, Jesus! Precious Jesus! Oh, for grace to trust Him more!”
So, friends, thank you for your friendship in the faith! Thank you for your renewed faithfulness to your own local church! Thank you for your willingness to pray for us! Ours remains a ministry of faith that depends on the Lord and the obedient generosity of His people for financial resources, so we also, thank you for your prayerful consideration of our financial needs. As you consider a tax-deductible gift to help us underwrite the remaining projects for 2020, please remember that your investment makes a real difference for eternity.
Finally, in these challenging days, please know that we are so very thankful for you and are praying for you, your churches, and your families as well. We are asking God that you will know the hope of his calling, …the riches of His inheritance, …and the exceeding greatness of His power in your life today. (Ephesians 1:18-19)
Yours for the Harvest, Larry Appleby

The Well International Ministries exists to:
- Magnify our Lord Jesus Christ so that many may come to know Him and make Him known.
- Mobilize His Church through worldwide mission teams.
- Maximize His Harvest by strengthening stateside churches (through the equipping of men and women for avenues of ministry within their local church).
These objectives are accomplished through three strategic areas of ministries:
1. International ministries through worldwide mission teams
- Leading evangelistic mission teams.
- Partnering with veteran missionaries
- Equipping national pastors and their wives
- Training leadership for church plants
- Distributing Bibles and discipleship material through churches, Bible institutes, orphanages, and prisons
2. Stateside ministries through local churches
- Mission conferences and revivals
- Pulpit supply
- Family VBS and camps
- Couples retreats
- Ladies’ meetings
- TWIM Annual prayer retreat
3. Student ministries – Students One6teen (Romans 1:16)
- Stateside ministry to teens with focus on living on mission.
- Ministries to international students on US college and university campuses
