The BAHAMAS - Hurricane Dorian – Disaster Relief UPDATE
For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord;
and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake. II Corinthians 4:5

Dear pastors and praying friends:
We have received the final 2019 financial report regarding our project: Hurricane Dorian – Disaster Relief from the bookkeeping staff of our mission board, Baptist Missions to Forgotten Peoples. We remain sincerely grateful as we read over the names of each of you who partnered with us in meeting some of the specific spiritual and physical needs of survivors there. We truly rejoice in what the Lord accomplished through our combined efforts in the Bahama Islands during the last quarter of 2019.
As you may recall, God burdened our hearts to target relief in one of the most critical areas in the Grand Bahamas. With the assistance of BMFP and Dr. Howard Mills, pastor of Bible Baptist Church in Nassau, Bahamas, 100% of your financial gifts were designated to assist Pastor Michael Hall and the New Testament Baptist Church in Grand Bahamas. Much of the church facilities and parsonage there were destroyed completely. Today, our obedient gifts continue to make a difference as Pastor Hall leads his people not only to rebuild, but to share the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ with so many hurricane survivors.
Although the updates are no longer common in the media, the work of recovery in many places in the Bahamas has hardly begun. Thousands of displaced Bahamians were forced to relocate and many still grieve the loss of family, friends, and all earthly possessions. Spiritually, it is a field “white unto harvest,” and many are responding to the message of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus only. Praise the Lord!
The Well International Ministries remains engaged in several international projects for 2020, and will continue to be a resource of financial assistance in the new year for the Bahamas as long as funds are donated. Dr. Howard Mills also continues to be used in this hour to lead in effective evangelism and disaster relief efforts there. We simply ask that you pray for the efforts of Pastor Mills and Pastor Hall, for the churches they lead, and for the timely spreading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ among desperate souls.
If you would still like to donate, please make checks for gifts of any amount payable to:
BMFP- Attention: Bahama relief/TWIM – P. O. Box 37043 - Jacksonville, FL 32236.
We maintain financial accountability for this and all projects with our mission board, BMFP. One hundred percent of all donations are sent directly to Dr. Mills and the Baptist Bible Church of Nassau in support of evangelism and relief efforts. There is no administration expense deducted from donations, and an income tax deductible receipt for charitable giving records is readily available.
Thank you in Jesus’ Name for your burden to carry the Gospel to this region.
