Meet Me at The Well - September 2018
For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord;
and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake. II Corinthians 4:5
Please take a minute and pray for the Applebys.
Ministry Update
God provided us diverse opportunities during the close of the summer season. What a joy to attend campmeetings and revivals, to visit with friends from the past, and meet a host of new friends in Suday Services and mission conferences in Fl, GA, TN, KY and MD! We closed out the month of September with a great mission meeting with Dr. and Mrs. Howard Mills at the Baptist Bible Church in Nassau. Not only is God at work in many Stateside churches, but He is doing mighty things for His glory in the Bahama islands! We praise Him for churches and individuals who for many years have partnered with us in His call to international missions, and are incredibly grateful for the new churches and friends God is bringing alongside of us in this season of labor for Him! We acknowledge His great faithfulness to meet every need as we move forward in faith.
Wherever we travel, we are humbled as we see the Lord save souls and build His Kingdom through local New Testament churches. Christ in you the hope of glory! (Colossians 1:27) Please join us in praising the Lord for His Great work in individual lives. It is thrilling to see Him meet great needs as we pray… (Sometimes even before we pray!) As you continue to intercede for us, please ask God to make us a blessing to those in great spiritual need. Pray also that he will continue to build our family of support with those He wants to partners with us in reaching lost souls throughout the world with the Gospel.
Important ministry announcement!
For those who have not already heard, we are now in an official partnership with Baptist Missions to Forgotten Peoples in Jacksonville, FL (bmfp.org). Since 2006, we have partnered with BMFP missionaries in a variety of international projects, and we prayerfully anticipate additional doors to open worldwide with the godly men and women of this reputable board. (Please note that TWIM/WOTW remains a non-profit (501c3) with general oversight by its existing board of directors.)
Family Update
The Summer of 2018 provided an opportunity for us to be with each of our sons and their families. Among the highlights was time with our four grandchildren: Micah, Wade, Kate and Evie! Also, we know you rejoice with us regarding Brandon’s recovery following emergency surgery in August. Praise the Lord!
