Meet Me at The Well - March 2018

For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord;
and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake. II Corinthians 4:5
Ministry Update
First, we highlight the upcoming international mission endeavor. Please begin praying now! Lord willing, we will serve for several weeks in Europe this Spring. We praise the Lord that once again He has opened doors for us to partner with missionaries and pastors in U.S. Military churches there. While I am scheduled to preach in several churches throughout Germany, Patti is the keynote speaker again at the Eurowide Ladies’ Retreat at Rhineland Baptist Church in Landstuhl (with Dr. and Mrs. Gib Wood). Please pray especially for God to prepare us both for effective ministry with dear friends and veteran missionaries, military families, and German nationals. Pray specifically for the work of evangelism and the work of equipping the believers there. Pray also that God will provide the ministry resources He wants us to give to missionaries and pastors and their wives. We are humbled to serve alongside those who both serve our Savior and among those stationed in Europe and serve our country. We give God praise in advance, knowing He will accomplish His purposes through His Word.
Secondly, we are grateful for continued pre-field (deputation) ministry. After returning from Nicaragua, God blessed us with a good number of opportunities to present the mission work in a powerful mission conference in our home church (Dr. Dewayne Jowers, pastor) and in two local churches (in Hilliard and Jacksonville). We were also incredibly blessed to hear Dr. Charles Keen, a great missionary, statesmen in two separate mission meetings in February. We are thankful for the time we were able to spend with him and his dear wife, Mary, and truly appreciate their investment into our lives and mission ministries. On February 27, Patti and I traveled to Perry, OK where we were honored to speak at the annual mission conference of one of our supporting churches (Pastor Shem Durham). As you pray for us, please continue to ask God to open additional doors for us to share the vision of TWIM/WOTW and its international mission outreach in a growing number of churches through mission conferences and in special mission-related meetings. Please pray that God will give us His favor with pastors, churches, and individuals that He wants to join our ministry support team in 2018.
Family Update
In February, God blessed our growing family with two precious granddaughters! How grateful we are that both girls are healthy (and did we mention beautiful?)! We also praise the Lord that their moms are recovering well. God answers prayer!
Support Family Update
Thank you for being part of the support family for The Well International Ministries and Women of the Well. After three months of full-time deputation, we have received just over 25% of our needed annual ministry budget. Praise the Lord! We are humbled by your prayers for our needs and are grateful for each financial donation you make for the work of the Lord. We invite you to visit our website (twim.org) regularly for updates and encourage you to tell your friends and family about what God is doing for His glory through The Well International Ministries/Women of the Well.
Yours for the Harvest, Larry Appleby

- TWIM Annual prayer retreat
3. Student ministries – Students One6teen (Romans 1:16)
