Meet Me at The Well - December 2017

For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord;
and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake. II Corinthians 4:5
We do not take you for granted! We express our heartfelt thanks to those faithful friends who have partnered with us in ministry for years and also to those who are new to the expanded work to which God called us. We praise Him that He has brought you alongside of us to become part of the support family of partners for The Well International Ministries. We are humbled by your prayers for our needs and are grateful for each financial donation you make for the work of the Lord. We are also amazed by the volunteers God has sent us to make up the next worldwide mission team to Nicaragua! It’s a joy to partner with all of you, and ultimately, with God! Truly, it is His mission to introduce men, women, and children in the Uttermost to the Gospel of His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. He has just favored us by inviting us to join Him.
Ministry Update
The annual meeting of the Board of Directors was held. We praise the Lord for assembling this team with a diversity of spiritual gifts and practical expertise in a wide variety of areas. With God’s help and theirs, we have been able to lay more of the foundation for the expansion of The Well International Ministries. (We want to remind those who may be more familiar with our labors through Women of the Well since 2006, that WOTW is now a branch of the broader ministry that God has established through TWIM.)
The new website is up! Thank you to those who prayed for the launching of the new website in December. Thank you also to those who helped with its building.
Praise the Lord for great meetings this Fall! God blessed us with great revival services for His glory with Pastor Daniel Kuhr and the dear people at the Bell Baptist Church in Bell, Florida. On a special note, we are thrilled that Pastor Kuhr will be joining us, Lord willing, in our January mission endeavor to Nicaragua! Secondly, we are praising the Lord for allowing us to take the survey trip to Managua in October. We believe God gave us wisdom to plan our next mission endeavor there for January 2018. We were also able to meet with a group of church planters and saw first-hand how He is expanding His kingdom among the nationals there. In addition, we were encouraged as we watched God open a new door of ministry for our mission in January among the Miskito Indians in Puerto Cabezas. Please continue to pray! (More details to come!)
Answered prayers regarding our pre-field (deputation) ministry! Deputation has clearly begun! God is providing opportunities for us to share the vision of TWIM and its international mission outreach in a growing number of churches through mission conferences and in special mission-related meetings. We ask you to continue to pray that God will open doors as we move forward in faith. Please pray as we set up the upcoming 2018 calendar that God will give us His favor with churches and individuals that He wants to join our ministry support team. We are grateful to pastors for their prayerful consideration of this need.
Family Update
As the Lord reminds you, please keep Brandon in your prayers as he continues on the road to complete recovery and for our two daughters-in-law who are expecting our next grandbabies. (Coming in 2018!)
Yours for the harvest, Larry and Patti Appleby
