Changed lives

We remain deeply grateful for the veteran missionaries that God uses to open doors for our worldwide volunteer mission teams.  One such missionary couple is Dr. and Mrs. Bob Dayton who have served for over fifty-five years in the Central American country of Nicaragua.  Tens of thousands gather every Sunday in the nearly two hundred churches established in their tenure. The influence they have made for eternity is immeasurable and their obedience to the Lord has paved the way for so many who have followed in their footsteps.

Since January of 2007, volunteer teams of men and women have served ten to fourteen days annually in outlying areas around the capital city of Managua. The primary purpose has been nightly evangelistic crusade services for adults and vacation Bible school classes for children and teens.  We praise the Lord for many who have come to know Christ as their Savior in these services.  In addition, our teams have led in daily conferences to equip (train) nationals from the existing local churches. It has been pure joy to serve alongside of these very capable leaders in reaching their regions with the Gospel.

“It is true that we asked God to send us help so we could better reach our people with the Gospel.  In fact, we prayed for years for you to come…  Thank you for serving with us and for sharing Jesus here every January since 2007. Thank you for all you have taught us. We praise God for many who have been saved and for all we have learned about serving the Lord. We will never be the same…Neither will our families and churches!”
